Product Overview
Things don’t always go as planned. In drilling operations, pipes can get stuck and a borehole can contain debris or even lost tools. The aim of a washover operation is to recover these items.
A washover pipe can be described as a fishing rod for drilling operations and may be fitted with any of a variety of special accouterments, which include screw-in subs and overshot tools. Some fittings are designed to recover undamaged pipe. It can also be extended with a drill string until it reaches the stuck pipe or other object.
A wide assortment of sizes is available ranging from 3 1/2" to 20".
