Taper tap is an effective tool used for catch the fish with inner bore by false threading, Especially to tubular goods with box coupling, the success rate of salvage will higher.

The tool are used go engage the outside diameter of a fish, usually in situations where conventional releasing overshots would not be a feasible option. They are designed to tap threads into the steel so that the fish can be retrieved or the fishing job can be continued.
